Women's Rowing Wins Second and Third Varsity Eight at Murphy Cup

PHILADELPHIA - The Drexel Women's Rowing team picked up victories in the Second and Third Varsity 8 boats at the Murphy Cup on Saturday this afternoon on the Schuylkill River.

Drexel's Second V8 had a good day, finishing in 6:35.36. The Dragons finished ahead of both Penn and Temple. The Third V8 had just one challenger in La Salle's Novice 8. The University of Pennsylvania picked the victory in the Varsity 8 race. The Quakers edged Drexel, with Temple and La Salle following in the standings.
