Athletes of the Week
Christina Mastropaolo
Field Hockey
Drexel's Christina Mastropaolo was named Colonial Athletic Association Co-Player of the Week after leading the Dragons to a pair of wins last week. The junior scored three goals in No. 12 Drexel's victory at No. 16 Old Dominion then scored the game-winner at William & Mary.

Mastropaolo became the first player in more than 11 years to record a hat trick against Old Dominion in a conference game. Her three goals drove the Dragons to a 3-2 comeback victory that gave the team its first win at Old Dominion in program history. Two days later, Mastropaolo scored the game-winning goal in the second half as the Dragons downed William & Mary, 2-1. In addition to the CAA award, Mastropaolo was named to the womensfieldhockey.com weekly honor roll for her performance.

The junior is currently tied for third in the nation in goals per game with 1.38 and is fourth in points with 3.23. She needs just one more goal to tie Drexel's program record of 19 goals in a season.
Fabio Assumpcao
Men's Soccer
Senior Fabio Assumpcao scored both of Drexel’s goals this week. Assumpcao is currently the leading goal scorer in the conference and is ranked second in points. He now has seven on the season, which is the most for a Dragon since Dominick Balsamo scored seven in 2003.  Assumpcao also leads the team with three assists and 17 points on the season.  This week he moved into the top 30 all-time in career scoring with 39 points.
Which victory has been the biggest of the 2009 fall season so far?
