Drexel Drops a Heartbreaker at Temple

BY THE NUMBERS
- Di Leva finished with one score and three shots on goal.
- Taylor Mason scored on a penalty corner allowing the Dragons to be successful on half of their corners in the game.
- Isabel Jacobs guided Drexel's offense as she was credited with two assists.
- DU's defense started strong as Anna Getty earned a defensive save nine minutes into the contest.
- In the 11th minute, Mason found the back of the cage on a penalty corner with assists from inserter, Amber Brouwer and Jacobs.
- After two goals by Temple, Di Leva scored on a pass from Jacobs to tie the game at two with five minutes left.
- The game was tied 2-2 in the 60th minute when Temple earned a corner and scored the game winner.
DU comes home to play Lafayette on Friday, October 7. Friday's contest will be in support for Morgan's Message, a non-profit focused on mental health awareness in athletics. Game time will be at 4:00 p.m. from Buckley Field.
