Philadelphia, Pa. – The Drexel women's junior varsity eight garnered a fourth-place finish out of 12 boats at the Navy Day Regatta on the Schuylkill on Saturday afternoon. The crew crossed the line in 17:22.90. The only crews that beat the Dragon women were Penn, Rutgers and the United States Naval Academy. The Dragon junior varsity eight men's crew finished fifth in their race with a time of 15:22.90 to beat Lafayette and Philadelphia rival, La Salle University.
The Dragons return to the Schuylkill on Saturday, October 28, when they compete at the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta.
