Women's Tennis Set for Home Match Against Fordham

PHILADELPHIA – Drexel women's tennis returns to action on Wednesday, March 6 for a 12 p.m. match against Fordham at the Hecht/Hamlin Center.

Last Time Out
The Dragons had their five-match winning streak snapped on Saturday when they fell to Buffalo, 5-2, at the Hecht/Hamlin Center.

Drexel won the doubles point with victories in the No. 2 and No. 3 spot, however, Buffalo retaliated, winning five singles matches for the win. Salma Ziouti and Anisiya Simpson teamed up to take down their opponents in the No. 2 spot, 6-2, while Katka Majorova and Marta Martinez won their match at No. 3, 7-6. Ghita Benhadi had the only win against Nicoleta Antoniou in the No. 2 spot.

Scouting Fordham
The Fordham women's tennis squad most recently fell to Temple, 5-2, at Life Time Athletic on Saturday. The loss gives the Rams a 3-6 record overall. Fordham's only wins thus far are against Quinnipiac, Seton Hall and St. Bonaventure.
