Golf Earns Second Place at Manor Intercollegiate

Farmville, Va. – The Drexel golf team earned a second place victory at the Manor Intercollegiate hosted by Longwood University after recording a total team score of 902 (302-299-301) over the three rounds. The Dragons finished just one stroke behind the first place George Mason Patriots.

Senior James Braunsberg and freshman Christopher Crawford finished tied for 10th place with a final score of 222 (+6). Braunsberg shot three consecutive rounds of 74 while Crawford carded 76-70-76. Benjamin Feld tied for 22nd, scoring a 227, while Ben Hinge finished tied for 31st with a 231. Andrew Lawson hit 246 on the tournament to finish 59th.

Next up, Drexel will finish out the season at the Wolfpak Intercollegiate in Raleigh, N.C. on April 20 and 21 before heading to Southport N.C. for the CAA Championships beginning April 26.
