Tim Homan joined the Drexel softball program as an assistant coach in August of 2025. He came to Drexel from Rowan University.
Homan recently finished a year of coaching with Rowan University, where he helped the Profs finish the 2025 season with the fifth highest record in Division III with a 49-4 tab. The team won the 2025 NJAC Conference Tournament and also won the regional championship.
Prior to Homan’s stint with Rowan, he coached for three seasons for Boston College, helping the Eagles to a 30-22 record, the program’s best record in eight years. While coaching at BC, Homan coached two All-ACC Players, two All-Region Players and also clinched the program’s first postseason win in the ACC’s single elimination bracket.
In 2019, Homan began his time with Dartmouth as the first assistant coach. In his four-year span with the program, he helped coach the 2022 Ivy League Player of the Year and place seven players on All-Ivy League Teams.
Homan first started coaching in 2016 at Villanova and made stops at Penn and Georgia Southern before joining Dartmouth.
In 2013, Homan received a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Palm Beach Atlantic University. Homan earned his master’s degree in sports management and athletic administration from Southern New Hampshire University in 2017.
