Jessica Angersbach

Jessica Angersbach joined Drexel University in June of 2024. She is currently the Assistant Director for Academic Support Services.
Before coming to Drexel, Angersbach interned at Villanova University for the Office of Academic Support for Athletics. She served as the primary athletics academic advisor for over 80 student-athletes, providing supplemental support for their unique needs. Angersbach also monitored academic eligibility and progress toward graduation within NCAA standards. In addition, she helped oversee study hall programs, conducted data analysis for annual grade reporting, and executed planning for the Football Faculty Reception and various Wildcat Workshop events targeting academic growth, mental health, and overall athlete well-being.
Before her time at Villanova, the Brick, N.J. native spent one year as a Performance Specialist at Epic Sports Biomechanics. She provided date-driven sport-specific and athletic performance training. In addition, she conducted skill and physical assessments for teams and individual athletes using biomechanical technologies and analyzed assessment data. She also spent time as an educator at Radnor Middle School and as a coach for the Arcadia University softball team, where she helped lead the team to its first Middle Atlantic Conference Championship.
Angersbach earned her degree from Villanova University in education with a concentration in general science. During her time as a Wildcat, she was a member of the softball team and was named to the Big East All-Academic Team four times. In addition, she was part of the Villanova Athletics Leadership Institute and an annual volunteer for the Special Olympics, St. Thomas of Villanova Day of Service and MLK Day of Service. She earned her Master’s in education from Arcadia University.
