Dragons Lead After Two Rounds of Temple Invitational

PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa. – Jake Haberstumpf completed two rounds of 1-under-par 69 in each to place fourth overall in the field and help Drexel hold first place in the Temple Invitational on Monday afternoon. The Dragons finished 5-over-par 573 in the first two rounds of the three-round invitational at the par 70 1912 Club.
Kevin Lydon shot an even-par in the second round to finish his 36-hole performance just 3-over (143). Thomas Young is 22nd in the 72 player field, shooting 5-over-par 145, while John Stevenson is two shots back from him at 7-over-par.
The Dragons return to the 1912 Club on Tuesday to finish the three-day event and try to capture the invitational for a third-straight time. The Dragons are one shot over Lehigh, who is in second, and four shots above Appalachian State, who is placed third.
