Lemoine Named CAA Offensive Player of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. – Pili Lemoine was named CAA Offensive Player of the Week for her performance in Drexel's win over Rider this past weekend.
Lemoine got the Dragons started by scoring late in the first quarter to put Drexel on the board, then assisted on Lily Haag's second-quarter goal to make it 2-0 at halftime. She capped her career day with another strike in the fourth quarter as the Dragons rolled to a 5-0 victory. The effort marked her first multi-goal game of the season, and she now leads Drexel in both goals and points through five matches, totaling five points on the year.
The Dragons host crosstown rival Temple on Tuesday at 6 p.m. as part of Drexel University's Welcome Week, presented by Giant Heirloom Market.
