Three Women's Swimmers Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

GREENWOOD, Ind. – Federica Nocera, Mari Alencar, and Megan Ehrnfeldt of the Drexel women's swimming and diving team have been named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District, as announced by the organization.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must be of a sophomore academic standing or higher with a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA and be a key member of the team.
Nocera had a standout performance at the 2025 CAA Championships, winning silver in the 200 backstroke (1:56.01) and bronze in the 100 back (54.24). She also helped the Dragons to a third-place finish and a new school record in the 400 freestyle relay (3:21.38), and was part of the 800 freestyle relay squad that broke another school record with a time of 7:21.91. Nocera posted team-best times this season in the 50 back (25.92), 100 back (54.24), and 200 back (1:56.01). The senior communication major from Trieste, Italy, earned a 4.00 GPA.
Alencar captured bronze in the 100 freestyle at the CAA Championships with a time of 49.99 and was part of Drexel's 400 freestyle relay team that took bronze while setting a new program record. Alencar also placed first in the 50 free and second in the 100 free at the Bruno Invitational. The junior finance major from Fortaleza, Brazil, carries a 3.89 GPA with a minor in political science.
Ehrnfeldt wrapped up a stellar season ranked fifth among all CAA women's swimmers in points. At the CAA Championships, she won silver in the 200 butterfly (2:00.43), finished fourth in the 100 fly, and helped Drexel to a bronze and program record in the 400 freestyle relay. She also placed eighth in the 100 fly at the CSCAA National Invitational. Ehrnfeldt set program records this season in the 100 fly (53.44) and 200 fly (1:59.41) and posted the team's best times in the 50 fly (24.53), 100 fly, and 200 fly. The junior computer science major from Scottsdale, Arizona, holds a 3.9 GPA with minors in math and data science.
