Kaan Akdag Named CAA Swimmer of the Week

RICHMOND, VA. - Kaan Akdag was named CAA Men's Swimmer of the Week after a successful weekend against Monmouth.
Kaan Akdag delivered a dominant performance for Drexel in their 179-78 victory against Monmouth, sweeping the distance freestyle events. Akdag took first place in the 1000-yard freestyle, finishing with a season-best time of 9:36.25, which ranks seventh in the CAA this season. The sophomore later secured another victory in the 500-yard freestyle, clocking in at 4:37.96.
The Dragons will head to Hampton, Virginia for the CAA Championships on February 26th-March 1st
