PHILADELPHIA — The Drexel women's rowing team delivered strong performances at the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta, earning two top-ten finishes on the Schuylkill River.
The Frosh/Novice 8+ crew posted the day's best result for the Dragons, claiming the bronze medal. Rowing in Marlene Buckley II, the lineup of Nora Manasas (Coxswain), Michaela Werber (Stroke), River Trotter, Imogen O'Rourke Blackburn, Hazel Danko, Valeria Sanango, Audrey Swain, Maddie Kristel, and Zoë Page (Bow) completed the course in 13:37.947. Philadelphia rivals Penn led the field with a time of 12:53.545.
The Drexel A Championship 8+ crew, competing in Jim and Toni Downey, finished ninth with a time of 12:57.610.
The Dragons will conclude their fall season at the Princeton Chase on November 2
