PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel Dragons fell to the Stony Brook Seawolves, 3-0, on Saturday afternoon at Vidas Field.
Stony Brook jumped out in front by converting a penalty kick in the third minute and held onto the lead for the rest of the game. The Dragons had a few opportunities to score, including a 28th minute shot on goal by Tiago Lima-Bittencourt, but ultimately they were unable to capitalize.
The Dragons were aggressive on offense, taking eight corner kicks and two shots on goal in the second half. The Dragons fought to the end, including Leon Park's 89th minute shot on goal.
Drexel will play their final match of the regular season on Saturday, November 1, when they travel to Hofstra. The match can be seen on FloCollege.
