Men’s Rowing Takes a Top-Five Finish at the Head of the Charles

BOSTON, Mass. - The Drexel men's rowing team finished with a top-five finish at the Head of the Charles Regatta Sunday afternoon on the Charles River. The Collegiate 8+ team came home from Boston fourth overall out of 42 boats.

The team of Derek Kaiser (Coxswain), Matthew Kennedy (Stroke), Kyle Brown, Quinn Cooney, Andrew Manns, Ben Werber, Nick Foley, John Little, and Andrei Malis (Bow) rowed Lois Krall III to a time of 14:53.848. La Salle finished with the top spot, crossing the line at 14:33.565. The Dragons bested the boats of their Philadelphia rivals Temple and Saint Joseph's in the event.

The Dragons return to Philadelphia next weekend for the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta on Saturday, October 26.
