Men's Rowing Turns In Best Ever Finish at Princeton Chase

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Drexel University men's rowing team closed out the fall season in fine fashion with its best ever performance at the Princeton Chase on Sunday on Lake Carnegie.
Drexel's "A" boat, racing in Lois Krall III, took fourth out of 38 teams as the group of Alex Dragovits (coxswain), James Schmidt (stroke), Damian Lis, Josh Diggons, Nikola Loncar, Kosta Petkovic, Andrew Manns, John Little and Andrei Malis (bow) crossed the finish line in a time of 13:09.627. The Dragons topped traditional national powers Wisconsin and Georgetown in the process.
The "B" shell also placed in the top half of the field. Charlotte Bentrim (coxswain), Michael Pazderski (stroke), Zoran Bosnic, Nemanja Sajatovic, Nick Foley, Richmond Coney, Roman Smigiel, Jack Anderson and Sam Valigorsky (bow) rowed Lois Krall II to a 13:32.886 clocking, ranking 14th.
Drexel returns to action in the spring.
