TOWSON, Md. – Five Dragons scored as Drexel downed Towson 5-1 in a season-high offensive outburst on Sunday afternoon in Maryland. Tina Rawa, Eline Di Leva, Natali Foster, Taylor Mason and Avery Powell found the back of the cage against the Tigers. Drexel is 9-5, and 2-1 against CAA opponents this season.

HOW IT HAPPENED

In the eighth minute, Drexel earned its first penalty corner, Rawa shot a rocket from the circle past the goalie with assists from Stephanie Oleykowski and Foster to put Drexel up 1-0.
Later in the first quarter, Di Leva possessed the ball near the sideline at midfield and sprinted down the right side towards the cage and beat the Towson defender to score her seventh goal of the year.
After a Tigers goal, Jacobs directed a pass from the sideline to Foster, she took advantage and found the top left corner of the cage to close out the third quarter with a 3-1 advantage.
In the 52nd minute, Mason scored off passes from Jacobs and Bri O'Donnell to earn Drexel's second goal of the second half.
Two minutes later, Foster guided a pass to Powell in front of the goalie as she put the game away and scored Drexel's fifth and final goal.
