BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The No. 24 Drexel wrestling team fell to No. 11 Lehigh on Sunday afternoon, 31-3 to go 1-1 on the weekend. Joey Goodhart was the lone Dragon to secure a victory against the Mountain Hawks.

The dual began with the 141 match and Lehigh took the first seven matches before Goodhart was able to get the Dragons on the board by securing a 3-1 sudden-victory win over the Mountain Hawks' 12th-ranked Doug Vollaro in the heavyweight match. Leading 25-3, Lehigh would take the last two matches with wins from No. 5 Darian Cruz at 125 and No. 12 Scott Parker at 133 and go on to win by a 31-3 margin.

The Dragons were able to hold three of the Mountain Hawks' five nationally ranked wrestlers to just decisions in the losing effort and only allowed two Lehigh wrestlers to secure extra points for the squad.

With the loss, the Dragons move to 7-2 overall and 4-1 in EIWA action. Each of Drexel's two losses have come at the hands of a nationally ranked opponent.

The Dragons will have some time off for winter break before returning to action on Jan. 1 and 2 as they ring in the new year at the Southern Scuffle in Chattanooga, Tenn.
