Final Results
Burlington, N.C. - The Drexel golf team concluded play at the Elon Phoenix Invitational on Tuesday afternoon. The Dragons, who had tied for the top spot in each of their last two tournaments, finished 14th overall.
On Tuesday, Drexel shot 293 at the par-71, 6,867-yard Alamance Country Club. Drexel is in 14th place after the first 36 holes of the tournament, 17 shots over par. Aaron Fricke was a bright spt for the Dragons. The junior shot a three-under-par 68 to lead the team. His three round score of 210 (-3) tied him for 15th overall. Connor Schmidt had a 73 and finished the tournament at 219. Adam Mistretta completed play at 222 after a 75 in his final round. Mike Cook and Brian Fischer shot 77 and 78, respectively in their final round.
