Men's Varsity Eight Takes Seventh of 42 Boats at Head of the Charles

Boston, Mass. - Drexel's men's varsity eight boat captured seventh place out of 42 boats at the prestigious Head of the Charles Regatta. Drexel finished behind only Florida Tech, Williams College, Trinity College, University of Virginia, Notre Dame and Hobart and ahead of eighth-place Grand Valley State.
The Drexel men's varsity eight boat clocked a 15:15.960 as coxswain Steve Matyas with stroke Kurt Linton, Lorenzo Albala, Aleksander Radovic, Kyle Fabel, Brian Timlin, William Masters, Anthony Fittipaldi and bow Jacob Sloan gave the Dragons' their first top 10 finish at the Head of the Charles in Drexel Director of Rowing Paul Savell's tenure in University City.
