Feld and Hinge Lead Dragons to Ninth-Place Finish at Lincoln Mercury Intercollegiate

Bedminster, N.J. - Drexel golfers Ben Feld and Ben Hinge tied for team honors with each shooting a 153 as the Dragons' tied for ninth place out of 18 teams at the Lincoln Mercury Intercollegiate hosted by Seton Hall. Binghamton won the event while Drexel tied with Saint Peter's with a score of 618 for ninth ahead of Rutgers, Lehigh, Fordham, LIU-Brooklyn, Monmouth, Colgate, Rider and Wagner.
Feld led Drexel in the first round with a 72 that left the Dragons in fifth place at the end of the day with a score of 304. Along with Feld's 72, Hinge and James Braunsberg each carded a 77 while Andrew Lawson was just a shot behind at 78. In the second round, the Dragons' did not fare as well as Feld shot an 81 though Hinge trimmed a stroke off of his first round score to record a 76. Hinge totaled a team-best eight birdies for the tournament. Braunsberg took a 78 in the final round while Lawson and Michael Serensits recorded 80's as the team finished the second round with a score of 314.
