CRICKET:
A very successful sport team at Drexel, the Cricket Club boasts championships at the prestigious Haverford College Tournament, as well as the Temple University Tournament in recent years. The Drexel Cricket Club was formed to give those with cricket experience an opportunity to play the sport, and to introduce it to the Drexel community. Cricket, which is somewhat similar to baseball, is popular in the Indian sub-continent, Australia, and the United Kingdom, but is growing in popularity in the U.S. Drexel plays each season (fall & spring) against area colleges.
