2013-14: Finished his career in the top 10 in program history with 35 doubles wins…had five singles wins as a senior playing primarily Nos. 2 and 3…went 14-5 in doubles playing primarily No. 2 with Dan Koehler…qualified for main draw doubles at the ITA Northeast Regionals.
2012-13: Named team captain for the Dragons…reached second round of ITA Regional Championships…advanced to quarterfinals at Penn Invitational…lasted until the semifinals at Hampton Road Invitational...took down Delaware in singles play to help give Drexel their first win ever over the Blue Hens...defeated Temple opponent, 7-5, 6-1 in first win over the Owl’s since 2008…added three straight doubles match victories with Badr Ouabdelmoumen.
2011-12: Won a flawless 6-0, 6-0 match at No. 4 at Rider to open season…notched the clincher in a 5-2 win over St. Francis (Pa.), 6-3, 6-3…finished the season with eight singles victories…added four doubles match victories with Badr Ouabdelmoumen.
2010-11: Tied for second on the team with 11 overall singles victories…played at both fifth and sixth singles during the season and posted a 5-1 record at both places in the lineup for a combined 10-2 record in dual match play, which was the most dual match wins on the team…recorded one of Drexel’s three singles match victories in the team’s opening round victory over George Mason at the CAA Tournament…played doubles with Bryan Nguyen and went 7-4 in dual matches at second doubles and posted a 9-8 overall record in doubles play.
Background: A four-year letterwinner at Malibu High and Laurel Springs School...earned a silver medal in the 16s zonal tournament and advanced to the finals at the ITF Carson 16s tournament in doubles play...advance to the doubles final at the National Open Tournament and earned a third-place finish at the Wilson National Tournament...also played varsity baseball and soccer while in high school.
Personal: Son of Terrence and Elyse Davis…majoring in sport management.
