2010-11: Rowed seven seat for the varsity eight ‘B’ boat that finished second at the Frostbite Regatta… top-finisher at the Bill Braxton Regatta...sat in the bow seat in women's second varsity boat that placed fifth at the Dad Vail Regatta.
2009-10: Stroked the women’s varsity four boat that claimed fourth at the CAA Championships…also stroked the varsity four that finished third at the Kelly Cup…rowed bow in the second varsity eight that captured first place in meets over Villanova and Lehigh and pulled six seat in the varsity eights’ triumph in the Bill Braxton Regatta.
2008-09: Rowed in the seven and bow seat of the novice eight in her first season at Drexel…rowed in the bow seat in Drexel’s first-place finish at the Braxton Regatta.
Background: A three-year varsity lightweight eight rower at Merion Mercy Academy…earned Coaches Award as a senior…led boat to gold medal at the Head of Christina and a bronze medal at the City Championships as a senior…competed at the U.S. Rowing Nationals in 2006 and 2007…member of the National Honor Society.
Personal: Daughter of Vincent and MaryAnn Wertan…majoring in business administration.
