2012-13: Secured the top-time in the women’s second varsity eight at the Rumson Boat Race.
2011-12: Rowed in the four seat of the second varsity eight boat that won the Mayor’s Cup at Rumson Boat Race…sat in the two seat of the second varsity eight that captured first place at the Frostbite Regatta…won Kerr Cup and Kelly Cup… placed second in the second varsity eight event at the 2012 CAA Championships…sat in the stroke seat in the women’s second varsity eight boat that won gold at the 2012 Aberdeen Dad Vail Regatta.
2010-11: Rowed in the stroke seat of the freshmen four boat that placed second at the Bill Braxton Regatta…sat in the bow seat of the novice four boat that earned third place at the Frostbite Regatta…rowed seven seat in the second freshmen eight boat that earned third place at the Head of Schuylkill Regatta.
Background: Varsity lettered in swimming and gymnastics...earned first place in the 400 relay at the Greater Middlesex County Championships and qualified for Nationals in swimming four different times...also, a member of the Italian National Honors Society.
Personal: Daughter of Rita and Brian Bender...majoring in nursing.
