Lemoine and Poole Earn CAA Weekly Awards

RICHMOND, Va. – Drexel take two CAA weekly honors as Pili Lemoine was named Offensive Player of the Week and Alana Poole earned Defensive Player of the Week following the Dragons' victories over Maine and Hofstra. It is the second weekly honor this season for Lemoine and the first for Poole.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Lemoine contributed a goal and an assists in Drexel's 2-0 weekend. The junior scored in the Dragons' 2-1 victory over Maine and then assisted on the game winning goal i the Drexel's 2-1 CAA-opening win at Hofstra. The junior now leads Drexel with nine points on the season, tied for the team lead in both goals (3) and assists (3).
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Poole made her first two starts of the season and backstopped Drexel to wins over Maine and Hofstra. The redshirt-sophomore totaled 12 saves across the weekend. She recorded four saves in the Dragons' 2-1 win against Maine and posted a season-high eight stops in the 2-1 CAA-opening victory at Hofstra.
Poole has appeared in five games this fall and, after her first two starts, now owns a .722 save percentage with a 1.45 goals-against average and a 2-0 record.
The Dragons return to Buckley Field on Friday, October 3, to host La Salle at 4 p.m.
