Four Dragons Named to NFHCA Watchlist

GENEVA, N.Y. – Four members of the Drexel field hockey team have been named to the 2025 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Collegiate Watch List. Anna Castaldo, Pili Lemoine, Valentine Van Hellemont, and Alana Poole were each recognized by the NFHCA on Thursday.
Castaldo, a 2024 All-CAA First Team selection, returns as one of Drexel's top scoring threats after finishing with nine goals and 20 points last season. As a sophomore, Lemoine appeared in all 19 matches last fall and contributed four goals and four assists in the midfield. Van Hellemont, the returning CAA Player of the Year, was a unanimous Preseason Player of the Year and All-CAA selection after leading Drexel with 11 goals and 22 points. Poole, an All-CAA Second Team and All-Rookie pick last season, was also recognized on the Preseason All-CAA Team after ranking among the national leaders in win-loss percentage and goals against average.
Drexel opens the 2025 season at Buckley Field on Friday, August 29th against Central Michigan. Game time is set for 4 p.m.
