Swimming and Diving Earns CSCAA Team Scholar All-American Honors; Men Tie for Second-Best GPA Among DI Programs

Five Dragons Named CSCAA Scholar All-Americans
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Drexel men's and women's swimming and diving teams received Team Scholar All-American honors Wednesday, as announced by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA).
In total, the CSCAA recognized 18,459 student-athletes from 432 institutions, highlighted by the Drexel men's and women's team GPAs of 3.75 and 3.76, respectively. The men's team matched the second-best GPA in Division I, tied with Harvard while Brown led the nation with a 3.83. The women earned the second-highest GPA in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA).
Additionally, Theo Andreopoulos, Kacper Karnik, Jakub Kwasny, Federica Nocera and Sebastian Smith received individual 2024-25 Scholar All-America Second Team honors.
The association has named over 2,700 swimmers and divers to its Scholar All-American Team for the 2024-25 season. These student-athletes achieved a grade point average of 3.50 or higher and swam a "B" time standard or competed at an NCAA Regional or Zone Diving qualifier.
