PHILADELPHIA - Men's Golf, Jenika Cuocco, and Men's 3rd Varsity V8+ crew were named Drexel Dragons of the Week, presented by Rothman Orthopedics, for the week of April 21-27.
The Drexel men's golf team came from behind to force a playoff but ultimately fell to Elon at the CAA Championships at Union League National Golf Club. The Dragons erased a five-shot deficit late in the final round, highlighted by a long eagle putt from Griffin Mitchell to tie it. In the playoff, Drexel had birdies from Mitchell and John Keba, but Elon's two eagles secured the win. Mitchell finished second overall at one-under par and earned All-Tournament honors.

Against Temple, Cuocco made 17 saves in Drexel's 17-13 win on Wednesday and added 10 more in a 16-7 victory over Elon on Saturday. The Westown, Pa native finished the regular season with 144 saves. The Dragons will take on Delaware in round one of the CAA Championships on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in Stony Brook, New York.
