Swimming and Diving Named to CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams

RICHMOND, Va. – The Drexel men's and women's swimming and diving teams received Scholar All-American honors by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA).
The CSCAA selected 781 teams made up 19,209 student athletes for the Scholar All-America Team. Drexel men's team ranked 2nd in the country in GPA with a 3.74 while the women's team earned a 3.71 GPA, ranking them tied for 22nd in the country.
In addition, 18 Drexel Swimming and Diving athletes earned straight A's in the term. Nine athletes on the men's side achieved this honor including Youssef Bahgat, Andrea Casini, Alessio Gianni, Eli Kofman, Thomas Pennimpede, Nathan Piccolo, Reds Rullis, Colton Wade and Milo Whitbeck. The women also had nine athletes make the list, Mari Alencar, Aldercy Bui, Hannah Charters, Margaret Esterly, Emma Flickinger, Mary Kubiak, Audrey Le-Nguyen, Federica Nocera and Olivia Scherbin.
