Smith, Gratton and Volkov Earn CAA Weekly Awards

RICHMOND, Va. – Drexel swept three CAA weekly honors following standout performances in Saturday's home meet against Seton Hall. Senior Sebastian Smith was named CAA Men's Swimmer of the Week, sophomore Joshua Gratton earned CAA Men's Diver of the Week, and freshman Lada Volkov claimed CAA Women's Diver of the Week.
CAA MEN'S SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
Sebastian Smith
Smith turned in one of the top performances in the conference, breaking three individual pool records and contributing to a fourth in the 400 medley relay as Drexel defeated Seton Hall. The senior set new pool marks in the 50 free (20.21), 100 free (44.28), and 100 fly (47.81), while also swimming a leg on the Dragons' record-setting 400 medley relay. Smith finished the day with four victories as Drexel improved to 2–0 on the season.
CAA MEN'S DIVER OF THE WEEK
Joshua Gratton
Gratton recorded two runner-up finishes to help Drexel secure a 195–95 win over Seton Hall. The sophomore scored 255.00 points on the 1-meter board and added a second-place finish on the 3-meter with a score of 239.30. His consistency anchored the Dragons' diving group throughout the meet.
CAA WOMEN'S DIVER OF THE WEEK
Lada Volkov
Volkov swept both diving events in Drexel's 194–94 win over Seton Hall. The freshman won the 1-meter competition with a score of 227.10 and added a victory on the 3-meter board at 244.65. It marks the first CAA weekly honor of her collegiate career.
