Dragons Earn 2-0 Shutout Victory at Wagner

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Drexel field hockey closed out its weekend road trip with a 2–0 shutout victory over Wagner on Sunday afternoon. The Dragons improved to 10–7 overall heading into next week's regular-season finale.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Following a scoreless first quarter, the Dragons broke through midway through the second. Anna Castaldo delivered the opening goal in the 22nd minute, finishing off a pass from Valentine Van Hellemont to give Drexel a 1–0 advantage. Drexel added insurance early in the fourth quarter when Anna Getty notched her first goal of the season, converting off a penalty-corner setup from Fleur Hamers to make it 2–0. Goalkeeper Halle Geiger recorded four saves to secure her third shutout of the season, as the Dragons limited Wagner to just six shots.
