Women's Swim and Dive Wins On the Road at Seton Hall

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. - The Drexel women's swimming and diving team put up a strong performance on the road against Seton Hall, defeating the Pirates 160.5 to 125.5. It's victory included six first place finishes.

Federica Nocera came out strong, winning the 100 backstroke in 56.86 seconds and the 200 backstroke in 2:02.60. Megan Ehrnfeldt also had a great day, taking first in both the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:06.60 and the 100 butterfly at 56.67 seconds.

In the relay races, Drexel's 200 medley relay team — made up of Aldercy Bui, Emma Pillich, Lizzie McDevitt, and Mariana Alencar — took first place with a time of 1:47.65. Another relay team in the 200 freestyle relay finished second, with Alencar, Audrey Le-Nguyen, Delaney Leonard, and Liv Scherbin swimming a time of 1:37.04. Brittany Corbett added three second place finishes.

Emma Pillich also won the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:07.99, followed closely by teammate Ali Bragg in second place at 1:08.09. Harper Barrowman added to the team's success with a third-place finish in the 500 freestyle, swimming it in 5:04.72.

The Dragons will look to keep up their hot start as they travel to Providence, Rhode Island for the Bruno Invite on November 22-24.
