Wrestling Wins Six of 10 Matches Against Bloomsburg

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. –The Drexel University wrestling team wrestled 10 matches at eight different weights against the Bloomsburg University Huskies from Hofstra University late Saturday afternoon. The Dragons won six of those matches.
Josh Stillings (184), Bryan McLaughlin (197) and Jared Donahue (149) opened the nontraditional dual with wins for DU. McLaughlin's came as an 18-3 technical fall in 4:36 while Donahue earned a 14-0 major decision. Stillings began the match with an 8-4 decision in his favor.
Following a Bloomsburg win at 157 pounds, Jaxon Maroney (133) also picked up a 10-1 major decision before Evan Barczak (165) totaled a 24-9 technical fall in under three minutes.
At 149 pounds, Gabe Onorato turned in the final Drexel win of the afternoon with a first-period win by fall over the Huskies' Christian Gannone in 2:12.
