Wrestling’s O’Malley Brothers Take First, Second at the Messiah Open; Four Dragons Place

GRANTHAM, Pa. – The Drexel wrestling team sent six wrestlers to the Messiah Open on Saturday, Feb. 2 in Grantham, Pa. from Hitchcock Arena. Four Dragons placed at the event including Michael O'Malley in first at 174 pounds, Sean O'Malley in second at heavyweight, Trevor Elfvin in third at 157 pounds and Max Livingston in eighth at 149 pounds.

For Michael O'Malley, it comes as his fifth medal in five tournaments this year. He took fourth at the East Stroudsburg Open back in November, first at the Wilkes Open in December, seventh at the Southern Scuffle on new years and second at the Shorty Hitchcock Classic in mid-January. He is now 17-4 in his rookie campaign with nine wins by fall.
