Philadelphia – Drexel student-athlete Kari Jonsson has decided to leave the men's basketball program due to personal reasons. Jonsson has withdrawn from school and has returned home to Iceland.
Jonsson, who was a sophomore, played in 28 games during his only season in University City. He averaged 10.1 points per game and shot .436 from behind the arc.
"We appreciate the contribution Kari made to our program during his time here," said Drexel Head Coach Zach Spiker. "We wish him well in the future."
