Men's Soccer Alum Tribbett Named to USL Team of the Week

TAMPA, Fla. - Former Drexel men's soccer standout Ken Tribbett was named to the United Soccer League's Team of the Week on Tuesday. His club, the Harrisburg City Islanders, announced that the rookie right back was selected to the team for Week 7 of the USL's season.
Tribbett, a midfielder during his four-year career at Drexel, scored his first two professional goals for the City Islanders as part of a 4-0 win over the Wilmington Hammerheads on Saturday in Wilmington. Just his fourth game with the team, the win moved the City Islanders to 2-2-1 on the season in the USL.
A native of Centennial, Colo., Tribbett was a four-year starter at Drexel and led the team to the 2012 and 2013 CAA championships and NCAA Tournament appearances. He was named All-CAA in each of his four seasons, and finished his collegiate career with 15 goals and seven assists. Eight of those goals were game-winners for the Dragons.
Tribbett's City Islanders will play their next home contest on May 16 when they host the Charlotte Independence at Skyline Sports Complex.
