Golf Concludes Play at Wolfpack Invitational

Final Team Stats
The Drexel golf team completed play at the Wolfpack Invitational on Tuesday afternoon. The Dragons tied for 12th overall with Temple University at the tournament and saw their two-tournament winning streak come to an end. The event was hosted by North Carolina State University at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course.
Drexel had one of its tougher rounds of the fall over the first 18 holes on Monday. The Dragons shot a 304 and were in 14th place in the 16th team field. Tuesday proved to be a much better day as the Dragons shot nine strokes better with a 295. It was the 10th best score in the field for the round.
Chris Crawford shot a 74 to lead the team on Monday. On Tuesday, the senior carded a 73, which tied him with Yoseph Dance for the team's lowest score on the day. Overall, Crawford shot a five-over-par 147 on the par-71 course. Dance finished at 150. Sophomore Aaron Fricke concluded his final 18 holes with a 74, while freshman Mike Cook was one shot behind him at 75. Fricke ended the tournament with a 151, Sophomore Adam Mistretta followed him at 152 and Cook had a 154.
The Dragons return to Philadelphia and will have almost two weeks off before their next competion. DU will travel to Maryland and play in the University of Maryland Invitational at the Woodmont Country Club beginning on Oct. 19.
