Dragons Place Second in City Six Invitational at Merion

Ardmore, Pa. - The Drexel golf team concluded the fall season by finishing second at the City Six Invitational held at the historic Merion Golf Club in Ardmore, Pa. Drexel finished three shots behind Saint Joseph's, who won the event. The Hawks shot 298, while Drexel finished the day at 301.
Yoseph Dance carded a 74 on Saturday afternoon to lead the Dragons. It was the first time the junior had the team-low this fall. He was one shot better than Michael Cook. Christopher Crawford, last year's medalist at the tournament, finished with a 76. Adam Mistretta also had a 76 for the Dragons.
The Hawks were led by Brian Turley who shot a 71. He tied with Patrick O'Leary of Penn for the low score of the day. Drexel finished one shot ahead of Penn, last years champion. The Quakers had a 302 on the day, while Villanova was at 303 and La Salle finished at 306.
The round at Merion wrapped up a successful fall campaign for the Dragons. Drexel won two tournaments this fall, had a top five finish at the Maryland Invitational and finished second place this afternoon.
