Crawford Earns Men's Golf All-CAA First Team Honors

RICHMOND, Va. – Golf's Christopher Crawford was named to the Colonial Athletic Association's All-CAA First Team for his performance during the 2013-14 season. Crawford is joined by William & Mary's Alex Hicks, College of Charleston's John Jonas, UNCW's Payne McLeod, and Towson's Juan Veloza on the First Team squad.
Crawford finished a strong sophomore season at the CAA Championships where he tied for eighth overall. He won individual medalist honors in back-to-back weeks at both the Wildcat Invitational after shooting a one-under-par 212 and the Lafayette Invitational with a score of 143. He also won the Cornell Invitational earlier in the year after carding a 210 and placed fifth at the Davidson College Invitational that kicked off the Dragons' spring season. Crawford was awarded CAA Player of the Week honors on four occasions this season.
Also receiving recognition is senior Ben Hinge, who was named to the 2014 Men's Golf All-Academic Team. Hinge will graduate with a degree in international business.
