Golf Concludes Play at Wolfpack Intercollegiate

Raleigh, N.C. – The Drexel golf team completed play on Tuesday at the Wolfpack Intercollegiate in Raleigh, North Carolina. The Dragons placed 17th overall, led by Christopher Crawford's seven-over par 223. Crawford's tournament was highlighted by an even-par 72 in his second round, sandwiched between a four-over 76 and a three-over 75 in the first and third rounds.
East Tennessee State won the event overall, finishing with a team score of 843. Carter Jenkins of UNC Greensboro won the individual title with a 13-under par 65-63-75—203.
Crawford's second round was the best single-round score carded by a Drexel golfer on the week. Overall, Crawford finished a stroke ahead of Yoseph Dance, whose 74-74-78—224 was good for a tie for 47th place overall.
Crawford and Dance were the only Dragons to fire each of their three rounds in the 70s. Alex Kane finished tied for 77th, carding a 75-81-78—234. Vincent Anagnos rebounded from a first-round 82 to put together a second-round score of 76, but followed that up with an 88 in the third round to finish in 89th place overall at 246 for the event. Scott Forrester rounded out the Dragons' quintet at 84-86-87—257, good for 90th place.
The Dragons will wrap up their fall schedule in two weeks when they head back to North Carolina for the ODU/OBX Invitational at Kilmarlic Golf Club from October 20-22.
