Philadelphia - Drexel Men's Basketball Head Coach Bruiser Flint has named Bobby Jordan as his newest assistant. Jordan has been on Flint's staff the last two seasons as the team's operations assistant.
"I am looking forward to having Bobby take over the duties as an assistant coach," Flint said. "He is extremely familiar with how we run the program. Bobby is a tireless worker and should help us in our recruiting efforts."
Jordan has been a fixture at Drexel the last six years. He remained at Drexel after completing his playing career in 2010 when he took the operations position. He was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the office and assisted with team travel and academics.
The Philadelphia native was a four-year letterwinner on the hardwood at Drexel. He originally walked-on the team as a freshman and eventually earned a scholarship. Jordan graduated from the school with a degree in sport management and is currently enrolled in graduate school, where he is working on an advanced degree in the same field.
Jordan was a four-year starter in high school at Roman Catholic. He was a three-time All-Catholic League selection and was a Markward Award Winner.
Jordan replaces Ashley Howard, who took an assistant coaching position at Xavier University.
