Eve Badana posted two shutouts this weekend

Philadelphia, Pa. – Drexel Eve Badana (Markham, Ontario) has been named this week's Colonial Athletic Association Rookie of the Week. Badana posted two shutouts as Drexel went 1-0-1 over the weekend at home.
Badana started the week by making three saves as the Dragons edged James Madison in overtime, 1-0. It was her second career shutout. Two days later, Badana made 11 saves in a scoreless tie against VCU. She stopped a penalty kick with just over three minutes to play to force the extra period. Badana has now held her opponents off the board for more than 288 straight minutes over the last three matches. She has dropped her goals against average to 0.78 and increased her save percentage to .866.
The Dragons are currently tied for sixth place in the 12-team CAA with a 3-3-2 record. They are 5-7-3 overall. Drexel has three road matches remaining as it looks for its first ever appearance in the CAA Tournament. The team begins the stretch on Friday at Towson.
