Matt Collier Named Assistant Men's Basketball Coach

Philadelphia – Drexel Head Men's Basketball Coach Bruiser Flint has announced the return of Matt Collier to the men's basketball coaching staff. Collier comes to Drexel after serving five seasons as an assistant coach at Howard University.
Collier previously worked under Flint at Drexel as the Dragons' coordinator of operations. He was on the Drexel staff from 2002-2005. During that time, the Dragons advanced to three National Invitation Tournament appearances.
This year, Collier reunites with Flint on the Drexel staff as an assistant coach. He will have a hand in player development, recruiting, assisting with practice and academics among other duties.
Collier earned a degree in sport management from the University of Massachusetts in 2001. While at UMass, Collier was Flint's head manager. A native of Queens, N.Y., Collier attended the Bronx High School of Science.
