Women's Tennis Hosts Towson on Saturday

Philadelphia - Drexel women's tennis will look to continue its winning ways when the Dragons host Towson on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. The Dragons are 7-4 overall and 1-1 in CAA matches this season. The Tigers enter play with a 3-11 overall record an they are still looking for their first conference win in their fifth CAA match of the season.
The Dragons are coming off a dominant 6-1 victory over city rival Saint Joseph's on Wednesday at the Drexel Courts. Elise Leizerovich picked up her 10th individual victory of the season in straight sets at fifth singles. Drexel won five of six singles matches and swept doubles play to earn the additional team point.
Towson has lost five of its last six matches coming into the weekend. The Tigers lone win during that stretch was a 5-2 victory over Coppin State on March 23. Towson has squared off against UNC Wilmington, Hofstra, James Madison and Old Dominion thus far in CAA play.
Parking and admission are free at the Drexel Courts which are located in the Vidas Athletic Complex on 43rd and Powelton Ave. in University City.
