Harris and Fouch Earn All-CAA Honors as Drexel Enters CAA Tournament

Philadelphia – Drexel's Jamie Harris was named Third Team All-CAA and Chris Fouch was named the CAA's Rookie of the Year. The announcement was made at the CAA banquet held in Richmond, Va.. The banquet kicks off the league's postseason tournament, which begins on Friday.
Harris was one of the most improved players in the CAA. The junior from New York led the team and was eighth in the league in scoring with 14.5 points per game. He also led the team with 109 assists and shot .825 from the free-throw line. Harris knocked down 34 three-pointers, scored in double figures 24 times and had 20 points or more on eight occasions.
Fouch, a redshirt freshman from the Bronx, led all CAA rookies with 11.0 points per game. He was in the CAA's top 10 in both three-point percentage and three-pointers made. Fouch had 62 three-pointers during the regular season and shot .383 from behind the arc. He scored a career-best 29 points against Hofstra and finished second on the team in scoring.
Drexel enters the postseason as the sixth-seed. The Dragons are 16-15 overall and finished with an 11-7 mark in league play. Drexel meets James Madison, the 11th seed, in the first round of the CAA Championship on Friday night at 8:30 p.m. in the Richmond Coliseum. The winner of that game will face William & Mary on Saturday night at 8:30.
