Harrisonburg, Va. - Drexel men's soccer suffered its fourth straight loss on Saturday at the hand of the James Madison Dukes. The Dragons fall to 7-9-1 on the season and 3-7 in CAA play while the Dukes improve to 9-5-2 overall and 4-4-1 in the conference.
The Dukes outshot the Dragons 25-15 in the contest, forcing keeper Tim Washam to make five saves in net while letting in two goals. For James Madison, Ken Manahan made six saves to earn the shutout.
The CAA's leading scorer CJ Sapong scored James Madison's opening goal when he knocked home the rebound off a Jason Gannon shot from two yards out in the 37th minute.
In the second half, Paul Wyatt took a feed from Torey Biero at midfield and carried it to a range of six yards from the goal before completing his run with a blast from six yards the gave James Madison a 2-0 lead.
The Dragons return to Vidas Field next Saturday for the final match of the season.
