Assumpcao Headlines Philly Soccer News Best XI Team

Philadelphia - PhillySoccerNews.com has honored senior midfielder Fabio Assumpcao with a spot on its Men's College Soccer Best XI team. The senior adds this honor to a collection of accolades amassed during his final, and arguably his best, season at Drexel.
The creative Brazilian midfielder scored a career-high seven goals and full displayed his acuity for bending set kicks into the net this season. He also led the Dragons with three assists, 17 points and two game-winning goals on the season. He was a Second Team All-CAA selection and member of the All-South Atlantic Region Third Team after ranking among the tops in the conference in goals and points per game.
