Philadelphia - The Drexel men's basketball team hosts its final non-conference home game of the season tonight when the University of Rhode Island visits the Daskalakis Athletic Center. The game marks the first time since 1992 that an Atlantic 10 team has visited the DAC. The Rams have won five straight games and enter the game with a 9-1 record. The Dragons had their three game winning streak snapped by Kentucky and are now 6-6. The game can be seen live on The Comcast Network at 7 p.m.

The Dragons are 4-1 at home this season. Tonight is Drexel's first game since returning from a six-day road trip which featured a stop in Northridge, Calif. and Kentucky. The Dragons split the two games, defeating Cal State Northridge by 12 and falling to the third-ranked Wildcats on ESPNU. It was the 2,00th win for the Kentucky program, making the school the first to reach that milestone.

Jamie Harris leads the Drexel offense with 14.2 points and 3.6 assists per game. Harris has four 20-point or more performances this year. Gerald Colds chips in with 9.3 points per game, while sophomore Samme Givens has played well of late and is averaging 8.3 points and a team-best 7.3 rebounds per game.

The Rams have already posted wins against an ACC team (Boston College) and a Big East team (Providence). Their only loss was a two-point decision at VCU on December 2. Keith Cothran leads URI with 16.1 points per game. Delroy James and Lamonte Ulmer are also in double figures in scoring.

Drexel will play three CAA games in five days beginning on Jan. 2 at Delaware. That game will also be shown live on The Comcast Network.
