FALL 2009 INFO:

Classes will begin during Week 2 on Monday, September 28th

Where You Can Get Fit, Have Fun, & Meet New People!

"I feel more confident because I have learned to accept my body and focus on the proper way to exercise."           - Testimonial from a Participant

6 Program Goals for Participants to Achieve:

1.  Increase self-confidence & a feeling of physical well-being.

"My self-confidence has increased.  I feel a great sense of accomplishment after completing a class, and I feel more energetic..." -Testimonial from a Participant

2.  Make positive lifestyle changes that include exercise being a fun & energizing activity.

"I was very nervous entering the class because I didn't think I could keep up, although the first class was challenging, I got the hang of it and the instructor was awesome at encouraging the whole class..."                       -Testimonial from a Participant

3.  Improve Balance, Coordination, Strength, Flexibility, & Endurance.

"My cardiovascular endurance has improved the most...I never give up when I'm in class!  My strength in all muscle areas --legs, arms, core-- has increased immensely since I started taking the group fitness classes."                      -Testimonial from a Participant

4.  Develop time-management skills.

"My time-managment skills have improved through participation.  Working out has become a priority for me and it has helped me get all of my work done during the day with the expectation of going to the gym for exercise class that night.  It sets a deadline for me." -Testimonial from a Participant

5.  Reduce stress, frustration, and anxiety.

"I always feel better after exercise class.  I take out my stress and frustration for school and work when I'm in class and it helps take my mind off of everything I need to get done.  It creates time that I dedicate to myself."              -Testimonial from a Participant

6.  Meet new people.

"I'm definitely more comfortable around new people in the gym, I never had trouble with new people outside of the gym, but I was always intimidated at the gym until now." -Testimonial from a Participant
